Introduction
In the short-form video era, monetizing clips has become increasingly accessible. TikTok offers creators valuable opportunities to legally generate income from their content through its Creator Rewards Program.

Monetizing Clips with TikTok's Creator Rewards Program (CRP)
TikTok's CRP is designed to reward creators who produce high-performing clips. Earnings are based on qualified views and RPM (Revenue Per Mille) rates.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of 10,000 authentic followers
- At least 100,000 valid video views in the past 30 days
- Personal account only (business accounts excluded)
- Must reside in a region where the program is available
How Earnings Work
Qualified Views: Only unique views from the For You feed count. Views must be watched for at least 5 seconds and not marked as "not interested."
RPM: Creators report RPMs ranging from approximately $0.40 to $1.14 per 1,000 qualified views, varying by audience location, engagement, and content quality.
Maximizing TikTok Earnings
- Create engaging, high-quality content to maintain viewer attention
- Leverage trending audio and relevant hashtags for visibility
- Encourage interaction through comments and likes
Account and Video Requirements
- Post original, high-quality content filmed and produced entirely by yourself
- Videos must be at least one minute long
- Upload after joining the program
- Reach at least 1,000 qualified For You feed views

What Qualifies as Original Content
Original content showcases your expertise, talent, or creativity and follows TikTok's terms.
Content NOT considered original includes:
- Duet or Stitch videos
- Content copied from others with their watermarks
- Slight modifications like sped-up videos with filters
- Looping videos or text-only overlays
- Lip syncs or copyrighted music over one minute
Qualified Views Definition
Unique views from the For You feed excluding fraud, paid views, dislikes, views under 5 seconds, and artificial engagement.
Rewards Calculation
Videos start earning once they reach 1,000 qualified For You feed views. Standard Rewards are based on qualified views and RPM, while Additional Rewards reflect content quality and engagement.
